I’m not a fan of convertible G-Body vehicles, but I am a fan of car owners doing whatever they want with their vehicles. G-Body Car Culture would be boring if everyone built their cars exactly the same, which sometimes seems like is happening in certain sub-genres. Value is subjective and someone thought this G-Body was worth $24k, what do you think?

Presented by Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis, this 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible is a modified version, as GM did not offer it as a factory convertible. The vehicle was acquired with the conversion already completed, and over nearly two years of ownership, substantial investments were made in paint, bodywork, mechanics, and the interior. The well-maintained car features a 350 V8 engine paired with an automatic transmission, with a clean CarFax. Equipped with various options, including power seats, cruise control, power windows, and a manual convertible top, this unique 80s convertible is a rare find in the classic car market.

The recent paint and bodywork contribute to the vehicle’s impressive appearance, while the functional interior includes cold-blowing AC. Despite not being a factory convertible, the top operates smoothly and partially sits on the rear bunch.
