I initially took to amazon to order new side view mirror glass and it led me to a product by fit system that was wrong (part #99004). I think that specific glass was for the 86-88 Monte Carlos with the slightly different mirror that sits further forward on the door. The correct glass is Burco 2132.

- Took a razor blade to cut off all of the old adhesive (on the passenger mirror I took a scraper to break off the remaining glass).
- I took rubbing alcohol on a microfiber cloth and carefully cleaned the housing plate, paying careful attention to the 4 “mounting points”.
- After waiting about 5 minutes, I used the adhesive in the packaging and attached it to the mounting points.
- I lined up the mirror and held it down for 20 seconds.
- Time will tell how well the adhesive circles worked, so if you want to make sure it’s done right the first time, consider using some type of windshield adhesive on the back instead.
The glass is two sided, so you DO NOT need a left and ride side, just turn the mirror around. BUY HERE.
